We're happy to announce that we have added address autocomplete support for the U.K., Norway, Sweden, and Saudi Arabia!
Shopify launched Autocomplete on Checkout in 2017 for 18 countries. Since then the number of countries supported has decreased due to data quality issues. We have since resolved these issues with the U.K., Norway, Sweden, and Saudi Arabia. Merchants in these countries can now take advantage of the address autocomplete feature.
If you have disabled the feature in the past, then you can turn on the autocomplete setting in Settings/Checkout.
While some countries remain unsupported, Shopify is continually monitoring performance for other countries and will release the feature to new countries, once we have extensive data showing positive improvements for our merchants and buyers.
