Shopify App 以外で Polaris を利用する際に気をつけること

polaris-react の使い勝手が良かったので他のサービス開発でも利用したいと考えております。調べたところ、以下のルールを守れば問題ないようなのですが、どなたか知見のある方はおられますか？

Polaris の GitHub リポジトリによると:

Licenses
Source code is under a custom license based on MIT. The license restricts Polaris usage to applications that integrate or interoperate with Shopify software or services, with additional restrictions for external, stand-alone applications.
All icons and images are licensed under the Polaris Design Guidelines License Agreement

とあり、MIT ベースのライセンスではあるが、 Shopify App 以外で利用する際は追加の制限が加えられるとあります。

追加の制限は、同リポジトリの LICENSE によると視覚的に似ていないこと、という記述が読み取れました。具体的には以下のページに制限が記載されているようです。

1. Shopify Admin のトップバーとの色差が 100 ユークリッド距離より大きいこと
2. 独自のロゴを使用すること
3. メインナビベーションにアプリ名が明示されていること
4. マーチャントが Shopify Admin へ戻るためのリンクがトップレベルのナビゲーションによって提供されていること

完全に Shopify から独立したアプリケーションでも 4. を遵守する必要があるのかは疑問ですが、これについてもご存じの方がおられましたら教えて下さい。

そちらのGitHubのライセンスは、Polaris-Reactのソースコードのライセンスで、Polarisの利用ライセンスはリンクされている以下になります。

関連するのは以下になると思います。

こちらはPolaris内のデザインガイドなので、この規約とは関係ありません。

上記のライセンスを要約すると、Shopifyと似ておらず、同じものであると誤解させるようなものでない場合を除き、外部サービスに使ってはならないとされています。（言い回しが2回否定が出てきてわかりにくいですが、基本的にはダメと言いたいニュアンスです）

似ているかどうかはShopifyが単独で恣意的に判断できるとあるので、基本的にはサービスなどの場合は、Shopifyアプリ以外に使わない方がいいかもしれません。
