I have some of my items for sale through Pintrest. When a customer purchases those items through the buyable pin, they reach check out and taxes are not being collected. If you order directly through my page, taxes are being applied. Ive double checked that I did not disable something to turn off the tax collection through pintrest and can not find anything. Please advise.
Thank you !
Hey there Chelsea!

There shouldn't be any difference in tax application between orders placed through your online store directly, and those originating from your Pinterest sales channel.
Could you double-check that any orders placed through the Pinterest sales channel were set to ship to a region with a specified tax rate in your store's Settings > Taxes? Remember, you are only required to charge county, municipal, and state taxes for regions in which your business has a physical presence. Taxes will not be applied to orders shipping to other regions.
Hope that helps!
