State sales tax collected during a recent time period.

Hi - I'm trying to figure out how much State sales tax has been collected during the last quarter [or year/month/period], and wanted to see if there's an easy way for Shopify to summarize this for me. Any help or direction would be appreciated. I'm hoping I have simply missed an obvious answer.

I needed the same and called for support.

Here's what you do...

Go to your orders tab.

Clear filters.

Press Export.

A csv file will get emailed to you.  It contains all the information you will need, to be able to sort and get the info for tax reporting.  It tells you how much was paid for the goods, plus shipping, plus taxes collected etc... it breaks it down.

We have an app in the app store that give you reporting for sales tax collected by state and by county/city/local tax jurisdiction for any time period.

When I export like you said it doesn't give me the taxes paid by order..

Yes, as of now TaxJar is built foe sellers based in the US. We don't handle international sales tax yet.
