Taxes issue

My name is amine

I'm from Africa and I want to drop ship from sites like aliexpress to first world countries

In my process of setting my shopify shop to drop ship in USA, I witnessed that I might have to pay sale taxes, and there is a law called nexus that made me go crazy. Now I don't know if I have to collect taxes as a retailer that sells to costumers within USA or I might not have nexus, which means : i dont have tô pay sale taxes at all.

Dear friends, what do you think about this situation

Remember please that I live outside of the US, and I never been there.

Feel free to give me any criticism or advice, because it has been months and I'm trying to make this work perfectly and legally.

Thankies and much love.

Hello Amine,

I’m Freya, here with the Shopify Support Team!

Taxes can definitely be confusing, especially when you're selling internationally! I very much wish I had a clear answer for you, but taxes change vary between states, change often, and it usually depends on how your business is set up. I would recommend consulting with a business tax expert in your area to make sure you're compliant with all current taxes in your home country and internationally!

Cheers :)
