We didn't get into eCommerce until this year and it's still only a small portion of our revenue compared to brick & mortar. That said for our Small Business Saturday we need to discourage customers from shopping in store (we can only have a limited number of people in at once) and want to encourage them with better deals through our Shopify site for curbside pickup.
Should I be worried about a traffic surge causing problems with the site? We're only averaging <200 visitors per day and peaking at maybe 25 in an hour. Obviously this will spike when the sale goes live, but I don't think it should be a problem. However if anyone has any advice of things I should be aware of I would appreciate it!
