Hi, I’ve taken a look at your site. Although I agree with the really long and detailed reply from Graham, I don’t think most anime fans will pay attention to whether the site complies with EU laws or how nice the about us page is. Heck, I’m an anime fan myself, and I think your products and your site look great!

But, here’s the main issue... Most, if not, all of these items could be bought elsewhere. Shows like Dragon Ball and Pokémon are everywhere. Consequently, Goku shirts, jackets, fake Pokeballs, etc are everywhere. You aren’t offering a product that’s unique or essential enough to convince someone to wait 45 days for what you’re selling.

An anime fan will drool over what you’re offering. That’s why they’re adding products to their cart. But, then they’ll say, “WHOA! 45 days?! Sheesh, let me try somewhere else”. That “somewhere else” might be Amazon, eBay, Wal-mart, or their local anime store. And, you’d better believe they probably live near an anime shop because anime shops exist all over the US. I live about 30 minutes from one.

You’ve added tons of discounts on your site. But, the cost isn’t always financial. Sometimes, there’s a time cost related to a purchase, too. Imagine there’s an anime convention next week, and I’ve just discovered your site. Am I going to wait 45 days for my Goku jacket, or am I just going to make a quick 30-min visit to the anime shop and buy one a jacket that’s almost identical? I’ll buy it at the local anime shop, even if the price is higher. Why? Because it’s a heck of a lot cheaper in terms of time. 

If you’re dropshipping, make sure to sell a product that’s difficult to find at a local shop or on Amazon. It’s easier to sell unique products with print on demand dropshipping. While you’re sourcing from supplier that a bunch of other sellers are using, it’s your own unique designs that’ll make you stand out. But, it’s costly if you’re not artistic. 

 

My point is, selling items that aren’t widely available is the only way you can really win at this dropshipping gig, I’ve concluded.
