I just started my store less than 2 weeks ago. I wanted to install my FB pixel, but was giving me errors. Finally I discovered that I have 5 pixels installed in my shop and I have no idea whose pixels are these ones and how to remove them, so I can install my own one.
How can I do to remove them??? HELPPPP!!!
You can't delete Facebook pixels once they've been created :( It's strange you have 5 Shopify apps that installed pixels in your Facebook. You might want to get with the App developers on this.
Thanks for your answer.
These pixels are installed in my shopify store and not in my facebook.
I uninstalled all apps from my shopify store. I have no app in my stre but there are still 2 pixel IDs installed in 3 different parts.
Refer to the attached image.
Could you pleae let me how can i solve this? as I also I am having problems with my own pixel
You might need Shopify support on this so they can manually remove them, though I'm still leaning towards an issue on Facebook. You can live chat with them, it usually only takes about 10 minutes to get someone to help -> https://support.shopify.com/
Thanks Michael. I am curious, do you belong to the shopiy team? I have been in contact with Shopify, but for the moment the answer was that my pixel is not well installed, something that does not address and answer why I have 3 other foreign pixels in my store tracking me and how to remove them.
As shopify partner, are you part of shopify so that you could help me, or the only way is the way I started by contacting shopify through email and phone in within the help area?
On the other hand, I already emailed facebook as per your suggestion, there was not option for a live chat. Probably it is bc of the weekend.
Thanks for your help.
No I'm not on the Shopify Team unfortunately so I have no control over accounts or any information. I'm just a 3rd party approved partner and specialize in SEO.
Best of luck!
I have a quick question, how do I do in order to upload a logo (30 day money back guarantee) in all of my products? Do you know?
ps: In relation to the foreign pixels issues I was having, shopify told me that these pixels were there because I was within my admin zone and logged in my own shop. Being out I didnt see these pixels. So I left this issue there.
There are a few apps in Shopify that will do this for you - just search for "watermark" in Shopify Apps. However I know a very easy and cost free solution. You can download Photoscape from CNet which is an easy to use yet powerful image editor. This software will allow you to watermark all your images in bulk, using text or images, and with whatever transparency level you want. I hope this helps!
