Add to carts but no sales

Good morning, 

 

I am struggling to get sales to my webstore.  I know I have lots of interest as in the past month 28 people have added products to cart.  This is what I am doing so far.

 

1. Google ads to bring new traffic

2. Am starting to post regularly on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest

3. Facebook retargeting campaign targeting visitors the past 30 days.  I have an offer of 20% off with about 10 different ad types but same message.  I have considered doing $100 off for 100+ cards,  would this be a better offer?

4. Starting doing push notifications to send sales to people instead of through email.

 

What am I missing.  How do I get people to go from the cart page to checkout?

Good morning, trust you are doing great. Great store. Good name. Congratulations on your new store!

 

In Google Ads are you targeting the ad to the right audience ?

I would add more collections of the wedding cards

Since Wedding Cards is needed by all try to add collections be Audience Requirement example - Indian Wedding Cards, Christian Wedding Cards etc. As you do not know which kind of people are landing on your website. correct : )

In FB select the right audience too.

Regarding Discounts just keep FLAT 20% of on all orders + Free Shipping Which is already there. (instead of discounting quantity wise)

Add a discount code on top promo bar in shopify on all pages.

Since you are serving (shipping) only in Canada then  at checkout page also keep shipping message FREE. (currently it shows -  Shipping Calculated at next step )

Also one important point how to customize the card ? There should be option to customize the names on the card (bride and groom name) - this information is missing and what about choosing the font ?

Please stop all your ads before you make above updates on your website and save the $$ of marketing once these changes are done do feel free to contact me for further checking of your website before you proceed ahead for any kind of marketing. My email is there in my signature.

Currently I am targeting people who search for "wedding invitations" in Canada on Google Ads.

I am not sure how to seperate my products into the categories you mentioned.  I am only sell laser cut cards and will design more when I sell some.  I intent to make different categories such as beach invites, rustic invites, vintage invites etc.

Like I mentioned before I retarget people who have visited my site the past 30 days. So I am targeting the right audience since I get 5% go to the cart page.  I am having trouble getting people to click on proceed to checkout.  Maybe its my cart page design that is not convincing.

I do like the option to add the free shipping to my ads. 

As for changing the "Shipping Calculated at next step" .  I cant seem to be able to change this since it is automatic of shopify.  If there is a way let me know as yes i want to change that.

To customize the cards,  Well if you read correctly it states on the product pages and the cart page that I will email the customer after the order is through with the details for the cards.  I have look at all my competitors and they do the same thing.

Vinod - Are you running Display ads with placement targeting or only search ads ?

Also - Try to remove - Taxes calculated in checkout from cart page if you are not charging taxes and if you are charging you can keep this as " Taxes Included" and include the tax amount in price. I tired to checkout as test order it shows ( Taxes $55.58 ) no user loves this LOL.

Try to give flat 20% discount on all orders instead of Quantity wise. Think about it pls.

 

Are you doing email targeting for cart recovery ? This is important too atleast 2 emails must go for cart recovery.
