Advice on Marketing and SEO

Hello, our store is up and running and now I need to learn to market it.  We sell t-shirts, but what makes ours different is they are hand drawn, original designs.  My 16 year old does all the artwork.  Would anyone care to share some advice or point me in the right direction to get our name out there?  Thanks in advance!

Hi Jamie,

I just checked your website and have the below sugestion for you, they might not be specific to marketing, but I'm sure addressing them will be worthwhile:

- Consider include sizing chart inside product page

- If possible document the process of creating each design (photos, short videos) and include them on the product page.

- Your instagram link is broken either fix or create a page if you still haven't

- Include some pics on about page

- Shipping prices and delivery times are not clear specially on International orders. Consider adding them somewhere on product detail page, or add a new page like the one you have for returns and describe shipping prices and delivery time-frames. It took me a while to see that red Free US shipping notice on your homepage.

- You have few designs, but all product descriptions are exactly the same, consider adding design specific description to each product. Helps with SEO

Cheers,

Sia

Firstly, you should research about what your online customers are. Secondly, you analyze insight of customers. Thirdly, you should determine marketing channel such as social channel (Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, Dailymotion, Vimeo), QA social (yahoo, quora), Forum, Ads (Facebook, Google). If you buy T-Shirt, you can invest on image and buy in Instagram.

Hi Jamie! Maggie, a Shopify Partner here :)

Your website looks great! Make sure to use wider images for the sliding banner [the recommended size for those images will be in your Theme editing section]. Add CTA [call to action] to each image to encourage clicks, ask people to browse and increase time spent on your site [at the same time improving your Google rank].

Add your shipping policy. It’s often the first thing people are looking for when considering making a purchase. Lack of clearly displayed shipping rates can drive shoppers away.

Hyperlink email address in the footer for a 1-click-contact.

Instagram – your profile looks as if it belonged to a different brand. Consider posting your clothing here as well as related content, to build your branding. Make sure to connect with the audience and attract followers by using researched hashtags. Share varied content: created [promotional], as well as curated [shared from other sources]. Instagram is a powerful platform and still not as saturated as Facebook or Twitter, so it’s a perfect time to make the most of it right now.

Facebook – looks excellent. Make sure to post regularly – ideally twice a day.
