The first thing in terms of usability, seo and sales is that not much products are advertized on the home page. Users can’t clearly see where to click to see the actual items which are sold (the menu on the left is not quite visible). Then Google bot which likes to see many links to the products right on the home page, it can’t spot them. Large images showcasing products are not clickable.
Second thing is that site is not optimized for keywords - it is a large slice of work but it is worth your efforts. The title of the home page shouldn’t start with the words “Imaginative Seeker”. People who will search for the products you sell won’t type in the Google search “Imaginative Seeker” :) Stuff there real keywords with which people should find the page on your site. Each page should have different set of keywords, the most relevant ones.
The descriptions on the goods should be clickable http://my.jetscreenshot.com/1321/20150724-fyqf-21kb. At present you can click only on image. When you select the most relevant keywords for each page, make sure to use them in the links to the corresponding products.
The good thing is that your site is optimized for mobile. However, the loading speed should be optimized. Check this tool for speed improvement suggestions: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
Please check your site for different duplicates in url of pages. If you have the page with the same content but available on different URLs - you create page duplicates which will hurt your site rankings. for example: http://www.vernieazalei.com/collections/all/products/pinK-lemurian-sun-pendant (capital K) should be automatically redirected to canonical version http://www.vernieazalei.com/collections/all/products/pink-lemurian-sun-pendant
Summarizing , I would say that you should work on two major things: site page content optimization for the keywords and acquiring new, high-quality, relevant links, because it remains one of the main ranking factors.
Hope that helps!
I have looked through your site. Leocristina.co.uk
Firstly, I would think of removing this part from the site. Because from the first sight it looks spammy. http://my.jetscreenshot.com/1321/20150724-obf7-82kb.
Secondly, please have a look at your site page url duplicates. There are a lot of them. For example standard url and the same url with the html. at the end. http://www.leocristina.co.uk/collections/necklaces/products/claudia-bradby-camellia-necklace.html. and http://www.leocristina.co.uk/collections/necklaces/products/claudia-bradby-camellia-necklace. Pay special attention to the product pages which are available at different urls, because people reach them through different consequence of steps. For example: http://www.leocristina.co.uk/collections/ottoman-hands/ring
Please do the keyword research process for your shop. Each and every page of your store should have manually written titles containing keywords which will drive traffic to the site. Pay attention to the product pages. They should have a) optimized, with keywords titles b) well-written descriptions c) optimized H1/H2 d) at least 300 words of text per page, containing keywords.
And please work on acquiring backlinks for your site. Put into use partnerships, content marketing, giving free stuff, offline activities.
Hope it is helpful
I have found plenty of duplicates in url on your site pages. Every page duplicate puts you at risk because you may not be ranked well because of this issue.
Example of url duplicates: http://watchezz.net/collections/daniel-wellington-classic-collection and https://watchezz.net/collections/daniel-wellington-classic-collection, http://watchezz.net/collections/danIEL-wellington-classic-collection and http://watchezz.net/collections/daniel-wellington-classic-collection
Solution - should be only one canonical version to which all other variants should be redirected automatically (use 301 redirect)
2) Another type of duplicate: http://watchezz.net/collections/all/dw-watch?page=2 and
http://watchezz.net/collections/all/dw-watch . Content the same, but urls are different.
3) Each page should have one H1 heading optimized for target keywords, in your case we have 3 H1 headings sometime: http://watchezz.net/pages/summer15-our-new-summer-campaign
4) Your site pages titles need proper keyword research done and then relevant keywords inserted in titles. Google bot reads page titles and checks whether they contain the keywords with which people are usually searching for your products. That is why, if we take the page http://watchezz.net/collections/daniel-wellington-classic-collection.html it should have the title that not just reads like: “Daniel Wellington Classic Collection – Watchezz.net” , but actually contains important keywords like “watches”, “men’s watches” etc.
5) Please improve your site loading speed. For suggestions, you can use this tool: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
Hope, I helped you
Welcome) Happy to help. I will create a list oа the most common url duplicates and will send it to you, okay?
As to the keywords - try to focus on not low and middle-competitive keywords, most frequently, they will be long-tail, meaning three words or more. Short and very popular keywords are vry hard ot rank for because of competition.
It seems that Google doesn't treat "watchezz" as a brand name. It thinks it is a usual search query, that is why it gives other results at the top. If you enter watchezz.net, then you will be shown at the top.
