Ok guys how do I get higher conversion rates ?
gets a lot of traffic sometimes 300 - up to 2k -3k of traffic per day but I'm currently only at a 2% conversion rate but almost 9% add to cart and then I lose the sale. Any tips on whati can do to the website to help these numbers? I also setup fb pixel & google analytics last night but I'm not even sure what to do with that info... I'll have to dig deeper when I get the numbers. My store does six figures annually about 500k but im really loosing alot in sales. I just added Help !!!
Thanks for your assistance in advance :)
I'm a newbie so I'm not sure how well it works but I've read that using "heatmaps" can help with this. It shows you what your customers clicked on the most and where they leave your site. This allows you to focus on those spots and tailor them to your future customers.
I know it's not much to go off of but I do believe there are Shopify apps that will do this for you.
I hope you can work things out!
I'm just getting started with Shopify. Does it support setting up Google Analytics Goal Funnels or the Advanced eCommerce Reports? Both those would help you find out where the users are dropping out.
I like the idea of heatmaps as well.
hmmm im not sure but i will look into it.. i just setup google analytics and still figuring out all the numbers.. there are so many tools.. i make 500k annually without doing all of this extra stuff but thanks to the forumns i realized hey i could be losing sales due to little small steps that i could take so every little bit helps
I use crazyegg, but there are a few tools out there. Googleing "website heatmap tool" will find some.
They can be a bit limited on dynamic pages like the checkout page, as the position of elements changes per visit,. e.g. how many products are in the cart. So you may have to use some human judgement to work out exactly what is going on.
I think some tools let you see a kind of video of a users flow through the checkout process. This could give good insights into issues individuals have.
Hi Salesse -
I mentioned this in another thread that you had some questions in, but wanted to let you know that Experimizer (https://apps.shopify.com/experimizer) also helps with bounce Rates :)
It's a great tool and it's free so I highly recommend it.
Let me know if you have questions or need help setting it up.
