Dynamic Remarketing: Some Products Are Invalid

Hello,

I have some inquiries regarding dynamic remarketing. The google tag assistant tells me that the 'some products are invalid'. The product IDs however, are identical to those found in the Merchant Center. Any way to fix this?

(Our site is: pumpkin-organics.de).

 

Secondly, this dynx_itemid tag... I'm not sure if it's crucial to the process, but in case it is, what should we fill in here?

dynx_itemid: 'CORS9'
});

 

Is the 'CORS9' found not the google support site a constant value? If not, what should I replace it with?

For eCommerce, you need to use ecomm_prodid, not dynx_itemid

To accurately match data is by visually looking at the source code and comparing it to the data submitted in Google Merchant Center. Not use Tag Assistant.

 

Your first task is to check which product id is submitted to Google Merchant Center.

 

Depending on the app or management service you are using this can be an SKU, but most likely something like shopify_de_1316546131646_113161616433 and not CORS9.

Thanks a lot, yes this is exactly the format for the ids and they match 100% including cases.... so now I'm assuming that the product IDs are matched... how can I verify if any advertisement is triggered on Google Ads or if there's none at all, how can I set it up?

 

To my understanding the tag sends info to the Merchant Center which in turn triggers a campain on google Ads and its respective advertisements? Is this correct or am I missing something? Apologies for the many question since I just started to work with Ads and Remarketing.

In Google Ads, you create a Display Campaign with dynamic feed. Then it will all work. You can verify if it works by analyzing the data in reports or in the campaign table.
