In my store, I am showing customers the price including VAT (because that is required by law) using custom code. At checkout, countries outside of the EU get the price without VAT. In my feed however, the prices are without VAT.
In order to show the correct price in my Google Shopping Campaign, I have implemented a Google Merchant Center Rule that automatically applies VAT to my price. However, now Google tells me that there is a mismatch between the Shopping Ads and the website.
Is this a known issue that anyone has a solution for?
The solution is to only change the price to exclude vat in the checkout when a person chooses there country.
You can not change prices dynamically using IP detecting. If your submit GBP with VAT to a UK feed in Google Merchant Center, then everywhere in the world we need to see GBP including VAT.
This is required as per landing page policy: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/4752265?hl=en
So you will need to change how it all works on your site to make it eligible.
