Failing Website and Less Traffic with SEO, Adwords, Facebook Advertising

Good Day,

I have a website called that I have setup over 2 years now. I have stock and also secured items at very good prices from suppliers that will Dropship my items. I have my inventory automatically Synced with their Database that updates everyday. 


i have been spending a lot of money on facebook advertising and Google AdWords but I’m getting very low Traffic to my site. When I do get get some Traffic there is no Conversion into a Sale. I have had some Sales but these don’t even cover the Advertising money that I have spent. I average about 20 visits per day and this only occur when i run ads. 


I have had a company to do SEO on my website and they said that I should see traffic in about 3 months. Till date there is no traffic from SEO. I don’t know what I paid for as they said they have worked on my site.

I tried using the KIT app but couldn’t get it going.


There’s another company that emailed me to offer SEO services and promises ranking on the first page of Google. I’m afraid to take this route.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. How do others get hundreds visitors to their sites?

I had a quick look at your site. There's some indexin which is done by Google by default - But looks like your product pages are not indexed properly. You should be able to see the google search console. If you were not aware of search console, no panic, its pretty straight forward to understand. You can add your website on to search console and update the links manually to start with(and later automate it).

Regarding your other question on ads - Email & Facebook/Ad marketing can be tricky if you don't niche down your customer segments. You can easily burn your pockets if the ads are not targeting your customer audience. If you already have customer emails (or) leads, knowing their interests and targeting them via emails or targeting similar audience based on these interests would help to improve retention. This app can help you find your customer interests based on their email. Once you know your customer interests then you can segment them appropriately on Email & Ad campaigns.

Don't hire people who email you randomly. Especially not SEO. If you want to hire SEO's than find them online and do research about the company.

With regards to advertisign, simply spending money is not key to success as you have already discovered. With Adwords you need to setup an effective campaign, identify the market, the type of keywords. You need well written ads, great landing page etc...

There is allot to it when it comes to advertising.

If your doing everything yourself, I recommed starting small and research first.

Use Google Trends to identify which products are popular in SA

Than research using tools such as semrush to see which keywords your competitors are using and text ads.

Than base your ads on what your competitors are doing, this is a great way to start out.

Don't do too much in one go, create, test, experiment, improve than move on.
