Google Search: How do I make my site show up?

We launched our site (www.mogreenshop.com) yesterday, but when I do a Google search for Mo Green, Mo Green Clothing Co., Mo Green Shop, our site does not show up - only a few links to our Facebook page?  Can someone help me with basic SEO to ensure our site shows up when people are looking for it?

Thank you so much

Greetings Jackie!

Will here, a Guru at Shopify to help you out with getting your store on Google.

To get started, you'll first want to register for Google Webmasters and ensure your store doesn't have a password.

Once registered, we will then have to verify your ownership over the domain. There are two primary methods, and I highly suggest trying the Metatag Verification to claim the ownership - you can often initiate this by clicking "Add Property", once you initially login and following the steps outlined on Google - or this document.

After all that's been done, your site has been submitted to Google but, you can follow these steps once you've added a property and verified to find and submit your sitemap. It can take some time after being submitted before it will show up on Google but, this will ensure that Google has received all your information to start building results once crawled :)

I hope that helps you!

Sincerely,

William L.

To add to Wills advice. In the Search Console (Formerly Webmaster Tools) you can Crawl->Fetch As Google, then Submit to index. Do that for your hope page (blank field) and select the option for it to crawl all links on the page. That may speed things up a bit.

If yo want to rank better for your brand name, I suggest you include it as text on the home page, and not just in the footer and hideden in an image.
