Folks, my marketing is solely through google shopping, my store is connected via a 3rd party app called google shopping feed over google merchant center to google shopping. I run smart campaigns with a ROAS of 130%, for some reason, and it doesn't make any sense to me, every 3rd day sales goes dramatically down, sometimes zero, while my visitor rates remain stable and also my product line-up dont change really, i update the inventory, sometimes i add new products or make changes to the store.
there is no logic behind this decline and i wonder if anybody has experience with this? couldn't it be the 3rd party app, that confused merchant center?

For this we have to check the app configuration and campaign set up, without proper analysis cant identify the exact reason.
With regards to the smart campaigns, there is, unfortunately, nothing to check as it is all automated and you can't view data.
So the only things you can check is if the remarketing tag is correctly installed, make sure the id's in the tag match the id's in the feed.
Google Ads > top right corner > tools and settings > audience manager > audience source > view details Google ads tag
Google Merchant Center > Products > All products
There is a possibility that competitors bid higher for these days or more competitors.
Unfortunately any analyze is not possible with smart shopping, if you switch to standard shopping you can analyze this. However more knowledge about advertising and google ads is required.
