No Google Analytics HTTP responses because opted out code detected
I've added GA code in 'preferences' and google tag manager immediately after body tag.
1. When I run the preview mode in GTM, I can't see the debug window in the footer.
2. When I start recording or enable the GT assistant, it says the below.
No tags found.
Where to optimize

Hello, you can track multiple events tracking with GTM. And can implement analytic code, google ads codes, facebook pixel codes etc with GTM.
Also you can refer this doc by Shopify to install GTM on your store: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/reports-and-analytics/google-analytics/google-tag-manager

You don't need Google Tag Manager. Just use Google Analytics to track your sales and understand what is working in your business. Hope you found this helpful, if so please click "like" below to let me know.
"You don't need Google Tag Manager"
With all due respect, that's not a solution. GTM is an industry-standard. It's what smart brands and marketers use. It doesn't things that GA does not.
Getting GTM into a Shopify store shouldn't be a test of will. And it certainly shouldn't be plan-based.
GTM is a tool to help drive success. Successful stores are in Shopify's best interest. Or not?
