Having an issue with SEO/structured data

Hello! Wondering if you can help.

I'm really struggling to get pricing/review info "rich snippets" fed through onto google searches. Our website is http://slingsandthings.co.uk

We've gone through all necessary steps on google webmaster to submit structured data and no errors have been found.

Could you think of any reason why the rich snippets would not be showing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as we've been working on this a while. Our website has been live for a good couple of months now, and we've been working on the google SEO since then!

Many thanks

Hi, Kirsty!

Patrick, a Shopify Guru here :).

I'm not a coder myself, but I did find another forum post with people having similar issue which you might find useful :)

I'd also recommend having a look at our Product review app, it will add rating to your product results on google

Hope that helps :)

Thank you Patrick - I have read that thread already - no light bulb moments as yet.

In webmaster there are no errors......yet no joy!!! It's very odd

Maybe this is an issue.....?

Somebody pointed out today that if you go onto our website and land on product pages by clicking on tags you get the following error message after the regular title: translation missing: en.general.meta.tagged

....and this could have a major impact on SEO and possibly rich snippets (as google will not trust our website)

Anyone got any ideas on whether this may be an issue, and if so, how to fix it?

Thanks!

Hi Patrick, I'm noticing my store has the same issue displaying "translation missing: en.general.meta.tagged" in the page title after clicking a product tag on the store I am building.

I googled this string and it looks like there are a large number of Shopify sites that have this issue and appear in Google search results with these broken page titles.

Can you please advise, or get in touch, so I can fix the issue before we launch out store?

Thanks,

Josh

Hey there!

Patrick, a Shopify Guru here :).

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this too. From the conversation I had with Kirsty, it seems that this is caused by how  your theme is set up. Is your theme a Shopify theme or did you purchase it from a third party? To check which go to your theme customization page (online store>themes>customize theme) and click on "info" on the top right-hand corner. If it's third-party I'd recommend reaching out to them directly. :)

However if it's one of ours let me know and I can look into it further for you. :)

Hi Patrick, thanks for your prompt reply.

I'm using Canopy by Clean Themes. I'll get in touch with them regarding the issue.

Cheers,
