I am running Facebook video ads (conversion) to the Shopify Store. However, recently I have been facing extreme drop between outbound clicks and landing page views (75% drop). I have checked the loading page speed on both desktop and mobile and it seems fine (GTMetrix - B, Page Insights 90+).
Highly appreciate your advice or any ideas that could help.
Thanks in advance
Hope you are well.
Well.., Many things matter to drive more results from existing traffic. Let’s take a closer look at the strategies, might useful to you.
Ads Intelligence: While serving ads on the online market, there are many competitors who beat us. More attractive infographics, gorgeous offers, and eye-catching content makes ads more successful and stand in front of competitors. So the content can work smarter, and not harder, for you.
Landing Page Optimization: An important part of high converting. Ads can drive traffic on the website but we need to make sure that is our landing pages or website is completely user-friendly and full potentials to convert users into leads for sales.
- Facebook Audience Optimization (Determine the right audience for your posts or ads)
- Add interest-based group
- Exclude the non-relevant group
- Add lookalike audience
- Targeted location
- Targeted Demographics (Age & Gender)
- Bidding strategy Optimization
- Optimization Goals
Optimization for Ads Delivery: if you optimize your ad campaign for Landing Page views, Facebook will deliver your ads to the people who are most likely to Click after seeing your ad. Basically, you’re telling Facebook’s algorithms what your anticipated results are and who should see your ads.
For getting more traffic I hope this might work, keeping your audience interests similar to your products where you can target those audiences whom you think can be interested in your products while keeping the “view content” as a conversion event till it’ll collect the conversion audience database for Facebook pixel and you can also use different ad varieties like a carousel cart or a single image might that be helpful for you, and keeping ad copy where you provide information about the product so the audience can get engaged with the product as it is important that provide some sort of knowledge for your products so people could get to know more about you products and go with organic posts too for better brand engagement. if you have a new business that needs attention on social platforms feel free to reach out for it. We are always glad to assist.
Hope this will help you to get more result.
Thanks for your reply.
The issue is not about drop in traffic. We already have good traffic and user and clicking on the ad (Shop Now /URL) and this is recorded as an outbound click. However, most of clicks are dropped and doesn't fire a view content event. There is 75 % drop between the two events. So, it seems like people click the add but don't load the landing or product page. That is what we need to debug and resolve.
