You have definitely come to the right place if you wish to start an online business. Have you already thought about which sort of a store you would like to open? This will perhaps give others a better overview of what to suggest.
As you’re already on Shopify, I suggest checking out some app recommendations that you could use for your store. In this list, you will find an app called Oberlo, for example, which is great for starting a dropshipping business as well as ideas on how to get started with designing your website.
How are you? Do you have an inventory of products to sell OR are you looking to source those? If you already have the products, then all you need to do is set up the store for them and upload those products data (images, description, inventory, etc) to start selling them online. You can go to this article for a checklist of all you need to do in setting up a store in Shopify:
If you are also looking for products to sell online, there are many options but the easiest (and cheaper) to get into is by doing dropshipping. In dropshipping, you will only purchase the product from a supplier once you have a sale. So you don't need to invest and buy the item in bulk and look for a warehouse to store them (this can be costly). Once an order is made by one of your customers, all you need to do is place the order to the supplier and they will take care of the fulfillment for you.
You can try Spocket. It's a dropshipping app that allows you to import and sell products from our suppliers around the world. This is perfect for merchants like you who plan to sell online.
You can check this article and see how easy it is to set up a dropshipping store using the app:
