Hi The Shark! Maggie, a Shopify Partner here :)
What is your main marketing focus at the moment? What are your strategies? You don't need a big budget, if you have the time / the creativity to market the store yourself.
Have you tried working on improving your SEO? It's the best way to grow organic traffic without a big budget. And as M. Peter points out, the more relevant, targeted traffic you have the more sales you will generate.
There's an online quiz that you might find useful, that through a few questions diagnoses how well your ecommerce is performing from the point of view of SEO and recommends the best next steps for you to optimise it. Here's the link: http://www.purplefrog.co.uk/how-well-is-your-ecommerce-site-actually-performing
Hope it helps!

Hey The Shark,
I noticed in your post you mentioned Reddit. Do you mind giving some clarity on what it is you are trying to sell? I have found a lot of success with Reddit advertisements. You should definitely look into them. If you have any questions or concerns in regard to it, don't hesitate to let me know!
Hi, make sure to never focus on making sales when creating a marketing campaign - instead focus on adding value for your customers. People don't like brands that pitch - hence you find your marketing efforts unsuccesful. Reddit especially hates pitching, unless you use promoted posts. It's still a new feature, but to encourage people to click, you have to create value, give people a reason to find out more.
