Increasing Budget of FB Ads

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering - is it normal to have a huge fall in efficiency immediately after increasing your ad's budget? My ads were doing well with many conversions. However, I increased my budget yesterday night, and my ads are now getting close to 0 conversions with a lot of impressions. What is going on?

Hi Daryl:

It's a weird situation, normally it should perform better if you are increasing the budget. Are you sure that you have not touch anything else? (target, interests...)

Hi,

Thanks for replying. Yes, I am very sure I haven't. All I did was adjust the budget. This baffles me..

Hi Daryl:

Maybe it just because it's happening now, i would suggest you waiting a couple of days, and if does not get better, change the budget back and see if it works.

If all these things don't give results, contact with FB and see what's going on, but i can tell you it's a weird situation.

I will try that. Thanks.

Some people suggests duplicating an adset to increase the budget (duplicate ad set, turn off the old one, and increase the budget of the new ad set to the desired amount). Would this be a better way? This does not seem to make sense to me, as as far as I know, the FB pixel is seasoned within each ad set, and duplicating an adset would mean that the pixel would have to start all over? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!
