MailChimp & Shopify intergrations - They dont sync?

So heres the question of the day....

I have had Mailchimp connected to shopify for a few months now, and have noticed something terribley concerning. When we create an email in mailchimp and use the "product content blocks" when creating and email to drop in our shopify products in the email......the products you droped in the email dont sync anymore after the email is created!

(shocked face!)

We created an email for an upcoming sale 1 week before the sale started, and we dropped a few of the products that were on sale in this email using the 'product module' in mail chimps interface. We scheduled the email to go out the day the sale starts.

But what happened was, once the sale started (all the products now have the reduced sale pricing), the email went out.....and all the products featured in the email had the OLD SALE PRICING from when the day the email was created 1 week prior.

So my question is, whats the point of having a 'product module' in mailchimp when creating emails, if they dont sync the product data on a daily basis and it only captures product data at the time you create the email? this means you cant build an email in advance and schedule it, cause it only is using old data at the time you build the email.

So no one has noticed this?

We just sent an email out last night, that the email was built over 3 weeks ago (with product modules)...and when it went out last night..the email still retained the product prices and info from 3 weeks ago (even though our prices change daily)

These Apps do not SYNC real time product information, at all any any given time...except for the first inital load of the product module for the 1st time. If you use a product module in an email, the pricing SHOULD sync at least daily (or one would hope they do). But this proves the products dont SYNC at all once an email is built out (if you build emails out in advance and schedule, which is best practice)...and if the product pricing/info is changed after that email is sent out.
