Need advice for my store

I just started this shop around a month ago, and it has done pretty well but I feel it can do better. I believe my biggest issues are my ads, my Instagram account is “overwatchthreat” and it is a organic account with all real follows as you can see by my normal posts. But on my ads I get a fraction of the engagement as I do on normal posts. I understand that less people watch the ads but I used to post other stores ads and they did a lot better then mine. What am I doing wrong?

Is there also any issues regarding my shop?

Hi Alexander,

Well, your website is still in a (baby) stage, which means you need more time of making optimization and SEO campaigns to start getting visitors.

Okay i am getting visits Why No Sales?

Well, this is another important process you have to consider. People never trust new websites, and/or unknown brands.

Why people buy from Amazon, eBay, Walmart with millions of dollars everyday?
If you answered this question you'll go into the point...

People buy from trustworth brands, simply because there is a money back guarantee and safe guard who protect their VISA CARD data and other importan issues. So that's Why.

So my suggestion is to start building your Brand Name instead of wasting your money in Ads. Most of new store owners here Fall in the same mistake: Paying thousands of dollars every month inspite of no sales.

Hope you get my point and good luck with your video game :)

Alexander - I manage over a dozen stores. The attached screenshot is one I started working on in Aug'17, just five months ago. I'm proud of this one after reviewing end-of-year results because of what this means to the folks that own it. This is a typical example of a normal store's growth with some solid marketing strategy and business positioning.

Because their startup is bootstrapped, I didn't start with any paid marketing on social of google. These results came from some aggreesive SEO and offline marketing (partnerships, guerilla marketing, etc). In another couple months when they have the propery revenue, we'll begin paid ads on social and adwords.

If you only have a few hundred bucks to use on paid ads, save it, seriously. There are better ways to use it. I would rather use that on industry niche website banners, local offline promote, and more. If you know who is into your product, where do they go for content and information on new gaming info? What value do you offer customers that your competitors don't? Who are you competitors, and what promos, pricing and positioning are they doing? They are a number of important questions to answer before you can start advertising properly. If you've done this and you're still not producing, I would suggest finding a pro to help, as forums won't help fundamental issues like that.

It takes a couple grand to test the market, messaging, etc. before you can start driving conversions consistently. It's simply a numbers game once you get the ads optimized.

Most shop owners think they can open a store, do some cheap ads on facebook, and make it rich. Doesn't happen. It takes real work, solid products, offerings, and marketing to drive success.

Make it wonderful!

That image might not mean anything if you can't see it! Didn't realize they resized the image on upload. Here's a shorter version to see... Make it great! Robert

You have a very engaged following on Instagram, although it does not convey your brand as much. Have you done any split tests of your ads? It might have an issue with targeting or an ad copy. You should also consider investing in influencer marketing. I would be happy to help you with that!

Your shipping time is way off what is acceptable. 60 Days is extremely high. I would try and improve the business practice to get it down to less than a week. Than you have a returns policy that states that you can only return within 30 days of purchase.

This to me is than labeled as a scam. You can't do that. The terms should be 30 days after receiving the item, not purchase. Than further down you state after delivery.

I recommend you invest some time to correctly write your policies and not have any contradicting statements.

I was able to improve my shipping down to 35 days and now you have 15 days after you received your item to return it.

Thank you

Hey Alexander - I've went ahead and made a 10min video for you reviewing your website: https://youtu.be/0_28mr17W40 (the video is unlisted by the way.)

I've packed it full of insight. I posted above with the results of one of my clients. I have my own eComm store at qualitybreeds.com and love helping startups and new store owners that are serious about making money. I'm known for my video walkthroughs, so I hope it helps give you some perspective.

Pro-Tip: Install www.hotjar.com on your site, it's free up to 2000 page views. This magic tool will record all users interactions with you so you can see where they got stuck. For instance, on my site qualitybreeds.com all my organic traffic was stopping on my homepage. After watching recordings and looking at heatmaps, I realized what got people stuck. I removed the slideshow for instance, and narrowed my messaging... And, boom traffic start flowing to the product pages. Details matter and tools like this can help.

Hope that helps!
