After finishing the site, I noticed i still havent made any sales after a week of using facebook ads and instagram. Do any of you have an ideas or any suggestions to how i can start making sales? do you think its normal to not make any sales in the first two or three weeks?

Thanks

Hi Christopher,

There could be many reasons. First thing that comes to mind is - Very often a person may be exposed to your product but needs to be warmed up to actually order it. You can do this by posting on social media, and re-engaging your followers and fans, driving them to buy.

Do this AUTOMATICALLY with Orangetwig.com Free Trial, and then starts at $10/month.

How this helps:

  • First off, it covers all social media channels - Twitter, Fb, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr.
  • Next, it lets you set a posting schedule, like 2 posts daily across all channels for a month.
  • What's unique is - It places your products in designs you choose to make your social media posts eye-catching.
  • Messaging - You can add CTAs like "Buy Now" and "Shop Till You Drop" to your social media posts to drive conversions.
  • It helps you create occasion based posts, like for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day etc
  • It helps you schedule and push sales, and Daily Deals like 5% Off on a different product daily. Shopify itself does not allow you to do this.
  • If you do not want to offer sales, it helps you make and schedule engagement posts like "Tag a Friend Who'll Rock This Dress <insert dress image>", and "Quote of the Day".

Also, want to get NEW people to see your posts?

The Orangetwig.com app provides you with Instagram hashtags that will drive the maximum no. of views to your post, such as top hashtags in the yoga category if you sell yogawear.

So much! A good place to begin is ... with Share a Poster tool.

Hi Christopher,

Subscribed. I'm in the same position as you, looking for new marketing ideas other than Facebook and Adwords, at the moment I think I'll focus more on traditional marketing like cold-calling, visiting potential retailers, sending out flyers and doing some pop-up stores. Both advertising methods become really expensive nowadays, it appears they only give good ROI for professional services like accounting and lawyers or selling really expensive items when their high revenue can justify spending hundreds of dollars on one conversion.

All the best.

Influencer marketing would be your best approach. Sending your shirts to popular celebrities on social media that have a huge following. This way their audience will see it and would want it as well. You can check out Chamboost we work with over 15K+ social media creators.

Hey Christopher,

Many times, people rely on reviews before they make a purchase. How well are you using your reviews? Do you even use them at all? This Reviews App will certainly be useful to you.

Also, one other technique you would want to consider is SEO. This can help drive traffic to your website and convert to sales in the long haul. Check out this SEO App to help with your website optimization.

Thanks!
