Need to build shiping services and getting all data via api

Hi, I created a store on Shopify add a product in the store and place some ordered against the product , and finally fetch the orders via API 

https://*.myshopify.com/admin/orders.json

But my requirement is not like that , i just wanted to build service like FedEx and get the ordered via API. 

Can anyone help me on that, i have already spent much time but no success.

Are you looking for the Carrier (Shipping) API. The Carrier service API can be used to generate real time shipping prices for an order at checkout.
