New custom furniture store getting traffic but no calls/emails

Hello,

I recently started a custom table company focused on farm tables specifically in the Boston area. I have been getting some decent traction using Adwords - about 85 clicks in the first 10 days. CTR is about 6.7% and avg CPC is $1.63.

That being said, not a single person has gotten in touch with me - at all. This is a bit perplexing so I am looking for any feedback I can get.

About 65% of my clicks are from mobile, 20% from desktop, 15% from tablet. Right now I am sending folks to this page when they click the link: https://www.lighthousewood.com/collections/types?q=Farm%20Tables

Thanks in advance for any advice. Be brutal if you have to,

-Daniel

Hi,

I would modify your cpc campaign to only target the Boston area (if that is not already the case). And make them come to you.

Furniture is initially hard to sell online. People like to feel, touch and watch it while imagining how it would look like within their homes before they purchase the furniture. As such, i think it would be nice if you attracted those people to your shop to get them to view your craftmanship in person. A face to face sale will always be better too. After that, let them do the talking. if they are satisfied, they will tell everyone.

I hope it helps

KR,

Nick

Hi Daniel,

I'll agree with Nick Target "Bosten area".

I'll also consider reducing bids if the average position is 1.0. Do not have to bid blindly on keywords which are not performing well.

There is nothing wrong with mobile traffic unless you activated search campaign with display select.

Try to reduce mobile bids at the settings/device tab.

Hi Daniel:

What kind of keywords are you using? There are some pages that can give you ideas of keywords related to your business that works perfectly! You should definitely check that.

About the average CPC, it is really high, you should lower that. This way you can get more clicks.

Device conversions for products with high prices is definitely lower for mobile. People prefer finishing the purchase with a desktop computer, so i would lower the mobile bidding (-80%)

Try to run a/b ads to see which keywords works better.

Also try to improve your SEO, i have writen a SEO guide oriented to Shopify stores that can help you a lot! See the link below:

Thanks guys! Do you think I should be sending people to the home page rather than to the collections page?
