in order to increase sales you need to work on the site iteself, if it is not optimized to the teeth there is no need to spend money to FB and google, even if you had unlimited budget if your site is not able to convert those visitors into sales you need to step back and rething your strategy.

now we know in your case that you receive traffic but for some reason people leave site correct?
what if when someone was about to leave you would offer them c oupon that say something like : hey don't leave just yet get 10% discount today and when the visitor click the button he would redirected into the checkout page and the coupon to be applied as well?
