I was wondering if you could help me please
I want to send just a plain text email as my abandoned cart recovery message from Shopify. Just a sort of 'Hey, how are you? Is there a reason you didn't check out. Let's have a chat' as I have Klaviyo running an abandoned cart flow, so after 24 hours I'd send a proper 'Here's all the stuff in your cart, buy it now'
I can't seem to be able to do it! Every time I take out all the liquid tags, and save it gives me a 'This page doesn't exist' error
Can anyone help please?
Wondering why you want to do this rather than just send that first email from Klaviyo? You can send it a few hours after they abandon the cart then it's followed by the 24 hour one if they still haven't checkout out by then. Much easier than trying to change themes and templates in Shopify and potentially breaking something (which is probably what I'd end up doing :-o )

I understand how confused you are about dealing with it.
Honestly, I am afraid that your content in the message may not be attractive enough to persuade your customers to check out. I suggest you should consider adding some discounts in the message, making your customers feel they may lose something if not return to check out.
I wonder if you send the message by yourself or use another App to deliver it. I want to suggest that using a new App seems to be the better choice because you can spend more time on your major, let that App send message to customers for you.
