It looks like you are talking about the xml sitemaps.
Are they showing up in real world searches, or just when you make site specific searches?
They are xml files so no meta robots to do a noindex with.
To discourage their indexing I would make sure Google is aware of all of them, by submitting them as sitemaps in the Google Search Console.
You can also request Google does not include them in the index by adding from as a parameter in the URL Parameters section, and telling Google to index no URLs with that parameter. It's probably already there as a parameter and set to let Google decide what to do.
Thank you for your reply.
That is correct the XML is showing up in the search result for my product and if I add my brand name to it. I have submitted all site maps to the search console in the hope that this would fix it but to no avail.
In the parameters section from is listed, should I be changing the drop down to say Yes and select no URL. Im guessing this wont have an impact on ranking for the rest of my pages.
What should be in selected for the how this affects the page?
As long as you have no other pages using from those settings should be fine. The tool will give you example URLs which should just be your sitemaps.
After doing it, check later that the sitemap is still submitted and working in the sitemap section.
