Within the "Settings >> Notification" you will see "Abandoned checkout" option. This email notification get triggered when there will be any abandoned checkout done by users. Also within the "Settings >> Checkout" you will see option when to send the abandoned checkout mail at the bottom with name "Abandoned checkout"

If you find sending cart recovery emails ineffective or are afraid that it will be annoying to your customers, then maybe a “universal” cart could help shoppers retain their carts and finish checkouts more frequently.
