I just did my first Shopify Marketing Email campaign today. Had about 85% delivery. After the fact I got thinking that the images I used in my Email campaign may have been on the big side. I suspect that size could affect delivery through some servers.
Does anyone know if Shopify Email compresses images automatically, or do I need to step on them before uploading them to my template?
Thanks in advance!

Shopify image compression is always in place. But uploading optimize images is always a plus which also help shopify images compression engine to further reduce the size. Best image seize optimization is always a big plus and huge impact on overall load time.
It can be optimized by Shopify, but if you can make it yourself that would be much better. It helps the browser to open your email properly, and also will take less time.
