I took a look at Google Search console and noticed that I have over four hundred 404 errors. Most of these were caused by the new URL that Shopify automatically creates when I use a product tag.

Is this the best fix or should I should I delete all my tags?
If I delete all my tags, how do I get rid of this Shopify created URLs?
I also believe that Shopify's internal search button pretty much eliminates the need for tags. Is there still a good use for tags?
