This is an eCommerce store that I helped build in hopes to help a nice humble local artist I talked to. I wanted him to focus more time on painting rather than selling paintings.
I am thinking about the target audience for the paintings. The shop mostly sells abstract, nature, horses type of paintings. They are usually 16" x 20". His art sells between $200 - $500.
I am wondering where should I begin to find the target audience?? I rounded down the demographics:
income level: 80k+
Interest: cityscapes, seascapes, horses, nature, flower, wildlife
I do not know much about professions, here are a few that I would suspect that I could try:
- real estate business offices (they put paintings on the wall)
- luxury buildings (any building that wants a high class feel with paintings)
- higher income stay at home moms (they like to decorate their house I assume)
- Home decorators/Interior designers (I'm not familiar with this one)
My question is: Is there a better angle for me to tackle? and also, where would I go and begin to market my products if I were to target the housewives first?
