A single word search probably raleates to a lot of websites, many more powerful than yours.
I suggest you verify your website with the Google Search Console and check out the Search Analytics report to see where you actually stand with valuable search terms.
Try focusing on search terms that are more related to people wanting to buy your product, not just find out about it. There will be less competition and a better conversion rate. e.g. buy moringa powder ;-)
Seems like you are up against the wall on this one. You are competing for a product keyword and that's a catchy catch. Ranking for the main keyword is an uphill task. It's like competing for the keyword. Here is what I would recommend you to do -
1. Pick up a nifty tools like Ahrefs / MozPro. Run your website through it and extract the list of keywords and keyword ideas along with Keyword Difficulty Score
2. If you are not ranking for the main keyword, I would assume that the difficulty score for that is on the higher side.
The route to rank for a keyword with higher difficulty score goes via lot of other keywords with lesser difficulty. The "Keyword Ideas" will list down the keywords with lesser difficulty score. Ranking for these keywords is function of -
2. Content that generates backlinks ( This is most critical part )
3. Championing OnPage SEO
Head to the Ahrefs blog to crrack the semantics and get going.

Looking at my competition, it seems pretty weak. unrelated websites a lot of them. and according to google analytics i have been ranked 1 over the last 28 days for 'moringa' which i find puzzling as i haven't had any clickthroughs or ever seen my site at number 1, so google must be reporting incorrectly. i have foreign sites ranking on google uk. But not mine. Could it be because shopify is based in canada?
Like I said, I rank highly on nearly 200 keywords and phrases so Google must be seeing my site but its not even acknowledging me on Google uk for my main keyword. surely I should be in the 24 pages somewhere???
Click on the moringa keyword then check the other options in the report. e.g. Countires, devices. Maybe you are ranking in Canada.
In the search console you can specify that your target market is the UK. And add some clues to your website that your primary market is there. The only clue I can see is that prices are in pounds.
Yes my international targeting in Google console is set to UK. maybe i haven't got enough references to the UK in my content but I would have thought google would know via the targeting.
I also went into analytics and clicked position, queries (moringa), and selected the UK and apparently my average position is 1. Which would be lovely if it were true.
Do you have a Google Local Business Page. That can often give you 1 spot, but only in a very localised place. How many impressions are you getting for that top spot?
What's the search volume for the keyword ? Position is often a misnomer, especially when it comes to Search Console. A better metric to track should be the Impression Volume. As long as your International targeting is set to UK, Google UK will treat you like a UK business. Also, would recommend that you check the rankings / impressions / position for a week and compare it with the previous one. By defauly search console presents the aggregated data of 28 days, which can be often ambiguos.

Only got 3 impressions for 'moringa' over the 28 days. looking at past 7 days im not ranked at all. maybe i flashed up momentarily in the number 1 spot haha. if i was ranked 1 i would be getting 1000's of traffic.
Not got a local business page.
I am getting 3 times more traffic from the US than the UK.
