my site is new and I'm generating only about 100-120 unique visitors per week. But about 40% of that traffic is coming from Pinterest, which is awesome. I dont have any ad campaigns with Pinterest and I have no idea how that traffic is being generated. I tried some basic searches but I'm not very familiar with Pinterest and couldn't find anything.
im happy to have the traffic but I'd love to see how it's being generated. I may find that I found a good niche customer profile and I'd like to take advantage of that. Any ideas of how I can try and trace who is sharing my site/products on Pinterest?
If you have Google Analytics installed I think you can find out where the traffic is coming from. You'd need to go to Acquisition > All Traffic > Referrals. Then click on pinterest.com in the list of links that show on the report. That will give you a list of links.
I hope that works for Pinterest?
