Unable to connect Facebook business page

I have spent a year between shopify and facebook support trying to solve this. Multiple chats, emails you name it.. countless hours of my life I will never get back! I just tried this and it worked! OMG - you are amazing! Thank you!

For me, the fix to this ended up being pausing my internet security software and the T&Cs page appeared for the first time ever. Browser was Chrome on Windows 10. Previous to this I had tried everything suggested and got nowhere. Hope it helps someone else and sorry if it doesn’t work for you.

I've figured it out after some trial and error. 

Go to business settings -> Accounts -> Pages

Select the page 

Select the admin person linked to the account

UNCHECK manage jobs and view earnings insights

CHECK ON admin access manage page

I had all options checked and this was confusing it and giving me an access right of Custom instead of Admin. 

If you uncheck the two items above, it will set you as page admin and you'll be able to connect to your page via Shopify.

Had the same issue after installing the app on Shopify, after several attempts to resolve this i found that i simply had to publish my page on Facebook.

I cant seem to find any way to connect my FB business page which is making me consider a change of system because my shopify with no fb ads is rather compromised
