Website Traffic

We are a bamboo ecommerce socks company.

We have a very good following on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. However, we are not seeing a lot of traffic - as we would expect- on our website.

Could someone give us some tips on how to increase traffic?

Thank you

Hi Gianluca,

My name is Ciarán, I'm a Shopify Support Guru.

Firstly, awesome site!

Competitions/Giveaways, where people have the opportunity to win free socks or a discount or something can be a great way to increase brand awareness and get people coming to your store.

If you have a customer base already, look at apps like Mailchimp to send out newsletters to previous customers and potential customers to get them to your site.

Apps like Kit—Shopify App Store Digital Marketing Expert and Retargeting on Autopilot by Shoelace can help create Adverts on your behalf. Very powerful apps.

Also look at our blog section that has some really useful tips for driving traffic to your store. Some of my favorites and ones you might find useful are:

Do one of these work for you? Let me know

All the best,

Hi Gianluca! Maggie, a Shopify Partner here :)

Your products and your USP are very appealing. I love the socks designs, and the gorilla action is also great. One thing I don't really see fit is the image of the industrial city on your homepage - I can see the backstory [concrete jungle], yet it doesn't help with sock sales in any way. I recommend deleting this image and show your sock wearer images only - much better for conversion rate.

If you already have engagement on social media, you just need to translate it into traffic to your website and eventually sales. Make sure to optimize your posts more efficiently, research hashtags and connect with the reevant audience.

Let me know if you had any questions!
