Hi Everyone ! I run a consumer electronics store http://www.luminosityglobal.com.au/ and I'm looking to drive targeted traffic.
Besides SEO, Google & Facebook ads which social media do you think I should use if any specifically if I'm selling consumer electronics ?
I don't know if Instagram would be relevant to me even though alot of people are using it. I don't think it has the same traction as for say women's clothing. I think I should be on social media for social proof but I haven't seen any conversions or people really looking to buy yet (My following isn't huge).
Should I run banner ads ? Should I stick to mainly blogging ?

I'm not an SEO expert myself, however I can see audiences for your products on all social media platforms. For example, on Instagram you can run contests asking customers to take photos of their products and tag it with a certain hashtag to receive a special discount. On Twitter you can make weekly announcements whenever a new blog post has been posted, to invite people to visit your site to read it.

Using these platforms to your advantage will increase your Google rankings as well, even if you don't get very many conversions from there. Any case where people are talking about your products favourably is good! :) I would recommend trying to create a following using all social media platforms, and concentrate on a weekly blog, all of these things will help.
The best ads to buy are Google Adwords, and Shopify gives you some free credits to use. Click Discounts on the menu on the left and scroll down to the bottom of the page to claim them!
I'd say that both google ads and social media can work for you.
I agre that you are in a tough vertical for social media. I noticed that you blog and I found your posts to be very helpful. I would recommend that you focus on selling your expertise on social media. Use that to build your following and to sell at the same time.

On a channel like Instagram, research the right keywords to get distribution despite not having a large following. On Facebook, I would recommend you try ads but start slow till you can figure out what works for you. I'll take some experimenting to get them right.
If you try Google ads, one tip I can offer there is to focus on finding niche keywords so you can lower your cost of advertising. An example would be to bid for keywords like 'Phone_Model Charger' (e.g. MotoX charger) as you sell a universal android charger that will work.
