Hi, I created my online store a few months ago and I am almost at the point of giving up. I thought I am doing everything right but still my store is not improving in terms of sales. In fact, it's getting worse. I had a few sales at the beginning, but not anymore. Can someone tell me what am doing wrong?

Thank you in advance

We have a database of Facebook users who have purchased products online during the last 30 days. They are all engaged buyers. We can advertise directly to these engaged customers. This will bring your advertising to another level, increasing your exposure, more traffic, more sales.

Your website looks fine. Stock images + logo are low quality - thats the only thing I would change.

Record your users:
Is there traffic and nobody buying?

Record your users:

https://www.hotjar.com/

or

https://www.fullstory.com/

you will know whats the deal within a week of recording. You can also create surveys with those services and get feedback from your users.

Check out Shopify guides:

If no traffic thats another issue, you should go through all of the guides that Shopify provides:

https://www.shopify.com/guides

https://www.shopify.com/guides/facebook-advertising

https://www.shopify.com/guides/ecommerce-analytics

https://www.shopify.com/guides/make-your-first-ecommerce-sale

Hire a professional:

otherwise hire a professional - dont cheap out. Cheap but good professionals are hard to find, its better not not play around and just hire somebody who has a lot of testimonials with links to sites of those clients (links are requirement).

Good luck.

Hi, Najat

At first I would recommend you to scale down product icons and make them the same size. It will make the interface more customer-friendly.

Secondly you should look at sales-improvement applications:
-Integration with social media like facebook, instagram can help to increase traffic. There are a lot of such applications on https://apps.shopify.com be key words 'instagram', 'facebook' so you can choose one that suits you best.
-Product up-sale/cross-sale recommendation widget can help to increase convertion rate of visitors into sales

Our teem T1050 of marketing managers and data-scientists have been working hard on developing intelligent product recommendations engine. Recent tests showed that it can significantly increase conversion rate. If you are interested in this sollution (absolutely for free now) please let me know (dmitry.khristoforov@gmail.com) and I will describe the details.

Thank You,

With best regards, Dmitry, www.t1050.com

I'd encourage you to give it another shot before giving it up.

I would suggest that you define a proper funnel. Let's assume that your funnel is:
Traffic to website -> Product Views -> Add to cart -> Checkout

Now, you need to observe that at what stage are your customers actually dropping off?

Well if you are not getting enough traffic, you need to work on the top of your funnel.

Doing proper SEO and social media marketing is going to help you a lot in this case. For your products, Instagram is a channel which can get you a lot of traction. As it is, consumers are 58x more likely to engage with branded content on Instagram compared to Facebook and 120x more likely compared to Twitter (study by Forrester).

OrangeTwig‘s InstaSuccess Toolkit makes it easy to grow your following, engage with your audience and, most importantly, boost sales through Instagram.

If the funnel is leaky at some other stage, then you need to find that and fix it. If people are not adding the products to cart then the photography and description of your products needs to be changed.

This will let you create persona of your ideal customer. Check out to get help with good and bad traffic.

Check out OrangeTwig to grow your social media engagement and following effectively and cheaply.

Thanks

I know that Orange Twig sounds like a good deal. However it's mostly HARD MARKETING posts. You really need to sprinkle in some NON sales posting to make your feed look and feel less automated.

If a customer smells hard sell automation, they aren't going to be willing to buy. There's no social media autopilot you really need to sit down and CURATE posts that are of Value to the customer not just a funnel to lead them to you. Funnels trap people in, but they don't make them buy.

Your social media audiance needs to be ENGAGED! ENGAED! share posts from other groups, cute things that are relevent to your brand.

It's summer, you're selling LOTS of swimwear! Great! So make some beach posts.

The five things you won't forget at the beach! (Make sure one of these is one of your products, like a beach towel, or swimsuit!) then things like sunscreen. I know that seems crazy but you have to let the customer know you're interest is their interest and that you care about their well being!

You've got a pride bracelet! Have you posted about it? Links to Pro LGBTQ groups? There's alot you can do. You need to support the products you're selling. Advertise not only the products but what they stand for. This means you'll have relevence with your customers. They'll feel you understand them, building that sort of trust is the first step to building a conversion when it comes to social media!
