I just recently started an enamel pin store and I'm having a problem with finding something to target on fb.. There is no specific enamel pin selection.. I've tried jewelry, fashion, punk, emo.. just getting very few link clicks a lot of reach.. does anyone have an idea how I might go about targeting an audience for such a product ? My stores addie is www.zizzbin.com feel free to have a look around maybe something is wrong with the page. I'm fairly new at this but I'm not even getting people to the page so I'm assuming it might be more of a targeting issue. Out of 2000 people reached i had 7 clicks.
Thanks for your help

These are great questions, something which I feel really helped me with narrowing down who my target audience was for my own store was the Business Model Canvas. It's a strategic management and entrepreneurial tool which allows you to describe, design, challenge, invent and pivot your business model. It is broken down into 9 key segments one of which is Customer Segments. It forces you to think and ask yourself about who your target audience is to identify your market. There is a great YouTube tutorial about the Business Model Canvas which I found very helpful that you can see below:
Something else I think you will find beneficial is the 3X3X3 Facebook ad method. Generally when you get a decent reach as you have but not many clicks, it means you didn't hit the right target audience. The 3X3X3 method is very helpful in finding the right market to aim for with FB ads but will take some testing. It starts out by creating 3 different ads for 3 different audiences with 3 different sets of text and images on the same budget. Over time you'll see some ads perform better than others and it is here you can start to drop off the ad audiences not doing very well and increasing the budget on the ads doing well. It's worth sitting down with some guides to do some more research on this before diving into it. There is a good guide for this which you can find here. I also believe crafts and jewelry would be the closest product description for enamel pins after looking into this part further for you.
There is a lot of information there but hopefully, it helps!
All the best, Nick
