Cal here from Shopify, thanks for reaching out to us. It's fantastic that you are getting so much traffic, it means that your marketing strategy is certainly putting eyes on your product.
In order to know what might be happening, we'd have to know about your current marketing strategy. Can you give us a little insight into how you are attracting that level of traffic?
While traffic is great, not all traffic is equal. Perhaps you are targeting the wrong type of traffic if you are noticing no sales. If this is the case, it might be best to alter your strategy entirely to target a different demographic. Have you attempted to craft some marketing personas?
Thanks for replying.
Yes I am currently running 5 campaign ads between Instagram and facebook. They consist of different products and 2 of them are product videos.
In regards to targeting I target UK, US and Canada 22+. They all started off as engagement campaigns to get post reactions however I have since switched them to purchase campaigns a couple of days ago. I run target 1 audience for each campaign such as "watch shop" "Luxury watches"
At the moment the cpc average is 46p, I have had 35 add to carts and around 1k views but no checkouts completed.
I have started using varinode and Socioh Digital Marketing to see if this can help
It could be something with the way the site looks aesthetically, but having done it myself you fail to believe it is, if you get my drift?
Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Overall I think your shopify store looks pretty good, But I noticed a couple of things that you might consider adding.
One thing to consider is adding a FAQ section. Adding an FAQ section to your store can help your customer more easily be able to find a solution to their problems without asking you. This will help long into the future so you don't need to spend so much time on customer support
Another thing to consider is adding a sense of urgency. By using urgency, you can make your visitors feel like they are missing out unless they order immediately. The 'Fear of Missing Out' that they experience, will increase your ability to convert them into buyers. One app that can help you with that is https://apps.shopify.com/better-countdown . It really can make a big difference in getting your customers to buy from you
Equally, another thing you might want to add is reviews. If you add reviews it will help keep your customers on your site. If your customer needs to leave your site to do research on a product they might not come back, adding reviews can help with that.
After carefully reviewing I don't see a blog. If you had a blog you would be able to drive more organic traffic to your store, plus it would help establish yourself as an expert.
Another thing you might want to add is social media links. Adding social media for your store can go a long way in fostering a brand
But seriously your store is actually really great, and I think just a few minor tweaks could really go a long way.
Just so you know, I also created a tiny email series that has some tips on making your shopify store better https://mailchi.mp/7d8692283c12/shopify-conversion-course

Congratulations on your store!
Don’t worry about not getting a lot of sales right now, you are not the first nor the last to be struggling with this scenario, 80% of the visitors don't place an order on their first visit.
Your store seems great, and with the feedback regarding the marketing campaign you received above, I'm sure you are right on track.
However, you could start using a retargeting campaign to engage with your potential customers.
Retargeting campaigns allow you to remind them after they left the website and offer the product information they’ve been viewed with different kinds of creatives. In other words, the goal for a retargeting campaign is awareness and conversion.
There are some retargeting apps on Shopify app store as well. If you’re not familiar with that, you can search “retargeting” and try it out - https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=retargeting.
I hope it helps you out!
Why are you different from anyone else selling watches ???
Your niche is super competitive. I'd focus on standing out from the rest. Plenty of ways to do that.
Also one of your products has 100 reviews. I don't know if that seems believable to me anyway.
Overall website is pretty good. Keep up the good work,
I'm not any different... The majority of markets are super competitive these days! With shopify an aliexpess any Tom **bleep** and Harry can setup a store within a day.
Thanks for the compliment of my website though. Website has started to convert been averaging 3 sales a day for the past 4 days so things are looking up! And hopefully it continues
Hoping to build up my pixel with 100 purchases before the end of November 👍
No dramas at all. You're correct in a way. Most people could build a website in a day but most websites built in a day will not work.
That is some awesome results and I'm sure you will do well online. I've been implementing something new into websites and seeing great results reach out and I'll send you over the details.
If you are getting views this surely means visitors are interested to buy from your store, however they might not have found your store appealing, though it's a gem of a store but surely you can work on few aspects mentioned down below which will help you in settling UI and overall functionality which will build trust for visitors and eventually drive you a lot better sales.
Also, You have around 114 products and sure you might add a few more as its just a start for you visitor might feel hard to find the right product.
Also your search page is bit off and empty https://rock84.co/search?q= Don't you think if suggestions are offered to searchbar, there will be a lot of chances for a visitor to buy from your store?
I would recommend to replace the default search with advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction and other such feature. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.
Check out the features live here.
If you're suffering from lots of traffic and little sales due to abandoned carts, you're not the only one— and PushOwl could be the answer you're looking for. Automated abandoned cart push notifications can help you increase sales and re-engage visitors to your site who have left.
I hope my feedback will help you converting visitors into customers.
