I have had my store up for about 3 months. Very active on Instagram. Also have a Facebook page and currently running adwords. I dont really know what to do at this point. Im starting to think its my products because I have a few site visitors but sales.
What can I do to generate sales? Also thoughts on my products are appriceated!
I hate to be blunt / rude but your website is very strange and missing basic info that you need to reassure customers you are legitimate. There's no "About Us" or "Contact Us" or Terms and Conditions" pages to name a few.
Our bank before they would give us credit card facilities, made us have all of that and they especially wanted to see -
A contact phone number
A physical street adress
There are no products on your home page. At first glance I see the background image of the mountain climber and I thought "must be selling rock climbing equipment." But you are selling clothing - there's no connection there.
We are also active on Facebook and Instagram but rarely get any direct sales from either. We get more sales from Google searches than those social media sites. Try an auction or better yet a competition on Instagram. Make it so instagram members have to visit your website to do something (like get some information from your homepage) before they can enter the competion.
My advice - redo your homepage with a horizontal menu bar and showcase your best products and sale items there.
Clothing is a highly competitive industry so be prepared to wait until you get it right.
Also check out what the most successful clothing websites look like - I'm constantly looking at my competition to make sure I don't fall behind.
Heres a link to some of the most successful clothing websites. You'll soon see why......
Thanks for your reply. I bought domain europe based business, but I now focused all over the world specifically in US. Is it the problem?
It's only a problem if you don't tell your customers where you are based. Like I said all your contact info needs to be available for people to feel comfortable buying from you.
I've shipped $1000 plus knives to the USA, Canada, Singapore, Germany, Czech Republic etc because those customers had confidence in us.
Put up a Contact Us page with phone number, address, email address. An About Us page so people can see who you are and what drives you, what you are passionate about. Lots of websites put up photos of the owners and employees too.
Every little bit helps you get the sale rather than your opposition.
