Hi Friends,

I know this is a hard time for everyone but it seems to be especially difficult for me. I started my new company (oneupscale.com) for selling luxury bags over 80% off retail. My business partners provided me with Machine learning techniques for Google trends, Smart warehousing tips and trusted suppliers.

I've invested a lot of time and money into oneupscale.com and sadly I'm not able to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I need help. I admit I am new at this. But I did use social marketing, instagram, tiktok, facebook to post content but none of them made more than 10 views. I used hashtags, posted quality videos like these but it seems like I'm missing something.

Friends, I know some of you have been able to crack the code to getting traffic/views and focussing on the problems which noobs like me are blind to. Please talk to me. I need your advice.

I tried purchasing instagram ads but they kept on saying "Ad Can't Run: Update Website URL(s)" My url is oneupscale.com and I have no idea what the message means. I wrote to Facebook 6 times and every time, they send me a generic TOS page link which does not tell me anything. I feel like I'm not getting help from anyone.

I think the greatest problem you will have is....most people who want to buy brand name items at high prices, are going to go direct to legit stores, so they know it's authentic. Unfortunately there is too many online stores that claim to sell authentic items but only to find out, its counterfeit.

Hi @oneupscalebags

Did you try to contact directly Instagram to get more information about your problem?

I think your problem is the brand reliability.

At first, please don't waste your money on ads, try to figure out your friends and your relatives about your store, and ask them for introducing your brand.

Luxury bags are unique products so don't try to sell for strange customers in the earlier of your store.

However, you can try to redesign your store for a better look. My suggestion is that you can create an Instagram feed, and Shoppable Instagram Gallery can be a suitable app. I'm using it right now, very easy-to-use.

Hope you can fix your problem as soon as possible!

Thank you,

Hello @oneupscalebags

in my opinion, your store has to be like a visit card to your offline store. Do you have it?
Secondly https://www.facebook.com/OneUpscale-Bags - is blocked https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pp7xQqiD1pnslgHtpoK0m_LtkiNb3Ghb/view?usp=drivesdk
thirdly Try to investigate your competitors and act like them - this method is very simple and can show you some other ways of your promotion.

Hi @oneupscalebags

Your Facebook page is aborted. Can you recheck the link, is it working at your end? Also I would suggest not to go for ads for now. Generate some organic traffic first by inviting your friends and family to your Facebook and Instagram pages. Instagram is key here. Also, go for video content on Facebook as video content has the tendency to go viral and it generates massive exposure.

Your YouTube channel must have a logo on its profile picture. Currently, there is no logo there

Keep on adding videos and optimize the YouTube channel as well with profile photo and channel art. If your products are of high quality, you are maybe just 1 sale away to make it a high converting online store. For that, I would suggest going for email marketing stuff. Integrate some in-store marketing apps for Cart recovery and direct Facebook chat. You can try CareCart if you like. They have some amazing reviews and apps are mainly free. As soon as you start making sales the confidence will come back. Good luck

Hello @ConveyLego0612 thank you for taking the time to write me your feedback. I think you're right about luxury bags as a unique product. I feel like ads, as this point, would be a bit immature and I'd like to organically grow my posts and friends on facebook. I did not want to mix my personal and business accounts so I have to start from 0 in this case. I'll check out Shoppable Instagram Gallery as well and let you know how it goes.

Thank you for your reply, @Alex_e-Scraper Sorry, I'm not sure about a visit card. is that for physical stores' association with online stores?

I think with facebook, the issue was, they wouldnt give me a username for my page until now, I have now been able to get https://www.facebook.com/oneupscalebags

It's hard to grow friends and fans on facebook from 0 as I kept my personal and professional account separate. Please check out the fcebook page and would love your like/comments.

Hi @Ali-92 thank you so much for your kind suggestions.

I'll address the youtube page profile pic.

Is it possible to get/buy email marketing by getting emails of potential customers with age/likes criteria? Do you know where I can start or perhaps a blog/how-to page link would be great.

Hi @oneupscalebags,

Oh! I understand your problem. So I think you can try to sell your products to some groups related to luxury bags.

I think this is the most effective way to help you increase sales.

Thank you,

Hi @oneupscalebags

Thanks for the questions, I would suggest first start with the basic solution of capturing the emails so that you can retarget them through email reminders and push notifications and then see where you stand. Regarding the Facebook page, it's a good practice that you have kept with personal and professional pages separate. How many friends do you have on your personal page? The first thing you can do is to invite all your friends on your business page and also request them to share your page with their friends so it starts to roll over and you get some organic traffic of your friends and friends of friends. Thereafter, start uploading the content revolve around your products. Remember, Content is the KING for social media, exciting content always drives eye-balls. I would suggest use some free video tools to start making some short clips.

The first target should be to drive traffic organically to your Facebook business page. For paid ads, I would suggest not to go for page likes campaign rather than boost your posts with regular intervals depending on your budget. Boost the video content and then retarget those views with your sale ads. Back this up with in-store marketing tactics like collection of emails to send them reminders and offers and direct Facebook chat to give them customized offers and address their concerns. The Facebook messenger marketing strategy would also give an organic boost to your Facebook page. This should be the path in my humble opinion.
