Hi,

I am trying to add some tables into product description and when I copy them from Word, I get a different format in the product description window (Supply theme).

Could somebody help me with a solution?

Thanks a lot,

This is an accepted solution.

The problem is that the word table does not have html/css parameters, so you won't be able to style it on word and copy as it is into Shopify. Ideally you use a html editor to create tables on the product description, then you will be able to have the design you want without coding knowledge, i.e. https://html-online.com/editor/

Hi,

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I do not have html editor experience and I have tried to create a table as follows:

- I copied the table from Word in the editor and while I can manage with the text formats and aligments, I can't figure out how to keep the lines format (some cells only need to have bottom line, some bottom double line etc). Would you help me understand how to do this?

Thanks

that would require some more advanced html/css knowledge. Maybe this editor is more helpful for what you are trying to achieve: https://divtable.com/table-styler/

Also you could have a look at this article explaining different options and how to code them: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/html-tables/

I hope this helps! If you want we could have a deeper look for you. Just write us at info@webmefy.com and we would love to help you.
