  1. Clear CTAs - help to show what to do next. Hero banner on your homepage is a key to make a connection with every visitor. You should clearly communicate what your website is about.
  2. Branding - clearly show your company branding. Logo, brand colors, brand fonts - should be the same across websites, emails, and social profiles. A key part of building your brand is making it recognizable. 
  3. Social proof - an incredibly powerful sales and lead generation tool. 
  4. Engaging images - you need them on your homepage to give visitors a sense of what your business is about. Images help you to tell a story and show visitors what they can gain from your product. For a product website think about how images can convey the value of your product and help your visitors to achieve their goals.
  5. Add a blog page, blog page helps you to share more about your website and products which increases your site visibility.Your e-commerce blog will not only drive more traffic to your website—but it will increase your conversions too. Your blog will make you feel more credible and relatable, which will provide new clients with a greater sense of confidence in their purchases.
  6. Try adding SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description so that it will be very easy to market your products and display them at the top in google search.
  7. 90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential for every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site. You can use Growave for that, it offers automated emails within the Reviews feature as well.
  8. Imagine if you saw something that you quite like in the store, however you want to browse more, get more options, and then choose the best one. That often happens to me, because I am indecisive. That is when Wishlist comes in handy. Since you have a lot of products on your site, I recommend adding that feature to improve the user experience on your site. Besides, if the items on the wishlist have not been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.
  9. Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer
  10. The items in your store are more on an expensive side, therefore I recommend giving back to your customers by rewarding them with free shipping, discounts, and other goodies for spending a certain amount of money on your site. That way,  letting your customers know that you care about them.
  11. For adding the functions above you can several apps. However, if you want to get all of them at once just with a couple of clicks, try  Growave.

I just reviewed your store. it's amazing. You need to work on a few aspects which will help you improve your store.

Fixed Header:You can create a sticky header. Sticky header is something that remains fixed to the top of the website, and is visible even when you scroll down. It gives a better navigation experience to the user.

Homepage: Homepage designs guides your visitors around your website. Homepage content should be strategically decided. You can add more sections on home page such as ‘Top selling products or best selling products’, ‘New arrivals’, ‘offers & discount banners’ to engage users. Also, Include trust indicators on the homepage.

Speed - To increase visitors and sales you need to work on your website performance’s speed as I am seeing it is very low, 36%. It should be above 60%. Also, you need to optimize website images. It will improve the user experience. Fast page load time will also boost the website’s crawl rate.

Product Page Design: Product page design could be better and organized. Provide a detailed product description to users it creates a better understanding of the product.

Add write a review section - This is a great way to win customer trust by providing them authentic reviews of the product so add ‘write a review section’ on your website and display it with the aggregate rating. 

Put Effort Into Online Reviews & Social Proof: Social media Makes your visible and it expands conversion such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram are great platforms for marketing and connecting with customers. Also, reduce the size of the footer.

Live Chat Support: A website with no live chat is like a store with no sales assistant. Start a conversation with your visitors and turn them into happy customers. So integrate live chat support on your website.

Hey @SerpentForge,

Overall I felt that the website is clean. But I feel it lacks that first impression which will grab users' attention. The product page is not structured properly, which makes it seem incomplete. This can result in a lot of users dropping off as soon as they enter your website (hence higher bounce rate) which can result in fewer sales.

Here are a few tips:

1. An appealing but simple “Above the fold” web design + Clear value proposition + direct call-to-action - Majority of customers once they land into any online store would not take more than 5 seconds, to decide whether they want to scroll down and continue or just look for what they have in mind somewhere else. So it is important that the homepage must be interactive enough, which is

  • High-quality eye-catching image as the banner - Right now the video is not clear, which will just throw away users attention and may bounce off.
  • A headline which will grab users attention (have an ideal audience in mind)
  • One-two brief sentences defining what your store stands for (drop in prices, high quality, special offers, free shipping or any other value proposition)
  • A strong call-to-action button which should stand out from the surrounding design

2. Having an auto-complete and suggestion feature in your search bar so that it provides an extra helping hand to relatable collections and products.

3. Footer Menu: The footer is an important part of your website because it is displayed on each page. As per resources, some stores have observed up to a 50% increase in conversions when they optimized their website footer design with specific goals. So it can help in improving credibility to your store with the following details:

  • Website Navigation: The product catalog is broken down into different collections & categories, a simple call-to-action on customer support/forms that try to convert website visitors to newsletter subscribers.
  • FAQ: Answer some of the most common questions customers have related to your products, payment, shipping, return, and refund.
  • Security & Credibility: Showcase your awards, security certificates, and badges to demonstrate to visitors that your website is trustworthy.

4. In your product pages, use High-Quality images + self-explanatory descriptions - There are a lot of deciding factors that come into a customers' mind, before they purchase a product, given they pay before they get the product.  Quality of product image, information, and social proof plays a very huge role.

  • Use high-quality images, with the option of providing different angle views, and allowing to zoom in/zoom out. This will help them envision the look and feel of your products.
  • Keep the product description short and crisp, it should convey who it is for, what it does and how it can be of value for the visitor checking the product. It would be better to have the description in bullet points so that visitors can read and digest them quickly.
  • Add product reviews and trust badges: It is for a known fact that we rely on other people’s opinions or actions to decide on our own. You can read more about trust badges here.

5. Adding product stickers/trust badges can help increase your sales by tapping into powerful psychological triggers such as scarcity, social proof, and urgency. Also having graphic and personalized stickers on products will help grab the attention of customers easily and nudge them to purchase. (I have added an image as a reference. Hey there, @SerpentForge!  

First of all, great job on your store! I can tell you’ve put a lot of work into it! Adding video to your site is a good move.

Now, diving into your store:

Homepage

  • You nailed the currency localization tool. Great job!
  • Banner: Make sure it’s linked. Instead of promoting worldwide shipping, I would highlight a deal (i.e., free shipping on orders over $35) or something to get visitors hooked. 
  • Hero video: I like the use of video. My only issue is that the overlay is so dark that it is hard to see what it is. Can you lighten it up? 
  • Collections list: Having your collections under your hero video is great, and it’s utilizing that digital beach-front property your visitors will see. I would play around with font colors here. The white font is very hard to read.
  • Featured collection: Instead of “featured,” I would play around with things like “trending” or “fresh out of the fire” instead of just “featured.”

Overall, I like your homepage! It’s a great length, and the layout is easy to navigate. I would suggest checking heatmaps (to see where people click or scroll) to see how far people are scrolling and where they are clicking. Do they engage with your homepage or do they use your main navigation instead?

Footer

  • Ring sizing chart: This is fantastic! The only thing I would suggest here is to add in a tip on how to measure in case someone has never measured for a ring before. How tight should it be?
  • Shipping: Could you use flat rate shipping to help customers avoid a shipping surprise at checkout?
  • Contact Us: Add in a nice welcome message with your email address and phone number to give people options if they want to contact you. Remove the phone number field from the form though - it is a field that has a high abandonment rate.
  • Product Returns: Link to your contact us page and provide an email address here. You don’t want customers to go through hoops if there is an issue. 
  • About Us: Other than some minor formatting issues, it was great to see your work in progress.

Main Navigation

  • Add in an All Collections link here.
  • Use heatmaps to see how they use your navigation here. About Us may be able to be kept in your footer.
  • Watch session recordings to see how people move around your website. I would be interested to see where they click and how they move to product pages.

Collection Pages

For reference, I’m looking at your Rings collections. 

  • I’m on the fence about showing price only on the hover-over. You have custom made products, so the prices aren't over the top. However, if someone is on a budget and looking at your products, hovering over each piece to see the price may not encourage a sale.
  • I still would add a filter to help visitors. You could filter by price, material, design, etc. 

Product Pages

For reference, I’m on the Hunuman ring. 

  • Double-check your images; it looks like some of the white background needs to be cleaned up just a bit.
  • Add in details about shipping!
  • There’s something missing for your sizing description.

  • Add in reviews! I love that you featured your happy customers on Instagram, but make sure there are reviews here as well. Include an invitation to review the product in any your post-purchase/delivery emails you send out.

In general, I really like your store! You have everything set and now just need these relatively minor tweaks to really get things going. I would suggest watching session recordings to see what people do while on your site - that can help you identify issues that we didn’t find, such as browser- or device-specific errors. You have a great site overall but some changes can help make it better I feel. Here are some ways to make your store even better and make people want to purchase.

Homepage Feedback

      1. I would clean up the design of your homepage as it does not tell me who you are, it just have a list of products. Your homepage should tell me what your brand is about. Also the video above the fold on the homepage is hard to see what is going on

      2. Consider adding a Featured Product section on the homepage (i.e. Product Of The Month). Pick one products and tell people why you picked it and what makes it great


Product Page  Feedback

      1. I would move the social media share button off the product page. Ruins the style of the page.

      2. I would tweak the product page layout as everything is close together and feel really tighten up on the page. Add some spacing and breathing room between different section will make thing look a lot better to the average customer

      3. Add a section for customer reviews when you get them. This helps build social proof and makes it easier for people to trust your brand. Ask past customers for reviews is a great way to get this started

      4. Make sure all your product images are the same size and dimensions. This is going to help tie your site together
