Asking for last feedback on my store before i close it

Hey guys,

So i am kind of at the last of my draws.. I feel like as a "newcomer" i entered the wrong niche & market for a beginner starting from a general store then transitioning to a niche store in clothing/apparel & acceessories.. I have followed everyone's advice as much as i could..

I spent about 200$ in influencer/meme instagram marketing and no sales in the beginning.. Thought i targeted possibly the wrong market and for the next two weeks after that I have tried doing market testing with FB ads following everything meticulously, testing different ad sets, interest etc.... 600$ down the drain and was able to make 3 sales and not even 1/10th of breaking even.. I said to myself im gonna give it another shot and follow this "guru"s ad strategy... and another 200$ and was able to make one sale..

I am not sure what i am doing wrong, I tested different ad sets from advertising a specific product, to a collection and cant really continue at this pace.. I am thinking about taking down my website ( might wait for the others to receive their orders 1st).. total of 5 sales in 2 weeks and 1000 in marketing down the drain..

I am thinking of possibly going for a one product store as it would be easier to market and test and just focus on one product alltoghether (already have something in mind).. Was hoping for some feedback or guidance one last time before i call it quits..

Would appreciate any kind of feedback,

THanks guys

This is an accepted solution.

Right now I can only point out things I see, but it literally could be anything and it doesn't necessarily have to be with the design of your website.

There are some things I would change about your site, to make it look more authentic and less like a basic drop shipping store.

My advice is to start tracking your data and then make the changes and see if it impacts your metrics. You need to look at it from different perspectives, not just conversion rate, but bounce rate, time on page, cart abandonment rate, and product detail view rate at the minimum to understand what can be improved. We could look at where the traffic comes from and why. We also do video replays, so you will be able to collect replay videos of your customers, journey through your website to know who, why, where your customers are dropping off. Time to stop doing guess work.

If you would like, I can provide a free analytics consultation which involves:

  • taking a deep dive into your data: look at where your traffic comes from, what they do on the site, why they might be dropping off
  • identifying metrics and areas that could cause issues
  • working together to see what we can improve to bring up that conversion rate
  • at the end of the day, you know your market the best, but I can help to provide key insights and a second opinion on what could be improved

If you are interested in working with me and getting some consultation just send me your email in a private message and we can work together more efficiently via email.

If you have any questions, I'm open to being fully transparent. I'm really just looking for some positive reviews for my app.
