A few weeks ago we opened a store Called Blue Belle Alley, a women's Clothing Store.  

I'd just like to come here and ask if there are any comments or critiques that anyone can provide about our website.  
At the moment we've seen that people tend to spend a half a minute on our page, and we're hoping that there's something we're able to do to make the site a more pleasant experience, and convert more people in the future.  We have seen that we've had approx 500 visitors, while we've only made one sale.

If you are getting views this surely means visitors are interested to buy from your store, however they might not have found your store appealing, though it's a gem of a store but surely you can work on few aspects mentioned down below which will help you in settling UI and overall functionality which will build trust for visitors and eventually drive you a lot better sales.


  1. Logo is not professional enough just simple text.
  2. Add some social links to the footer for better connectivity.
  3. For some sales in the start, you need to offer some discounts to get going as a promotional offer.
    Also, it would be great if you can create a separate sale page for discounted products.
  4. Also, You have around 477 products and sure you might add a few more as its just a start for you visitor might feel hard to find the right product.
    Also your search page is bit off and empty .Don't you think if suggestions are offered to searchbar, there will be a lot of chances for a visitor to buy from your store?
  5. I would recommend to replace the default search with advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction and other such feature. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.

There is tons of competition out there and it's not easy to convince someone to buy. Here are some ways to make your store even better and make people want to purchase.


Homepage Feedback

    1. I would clean up the design of your homepage and show less product. Focus more on showing less product but have it be the items you want to sell

    2. You have Contact Us twice in the footer, I would remove it and just have it once

    3. Consider adding a Featured Product section on the homepage (i.e. XY Of The Month). Pick one products and tell people why you picked it and what makes it great

Product Page  Feedback

    1. Add a longer product description as this is how you convince someone to buy on your site. Plus it helps with SEO and ranking in organic search

    2. Long term goal should be to get all your product images having a similar design style. Right now some are indoor vs outdoor and other have the bright or dark background. 

    3. ASOS and other leading fashion brands are doing little fashion videos for their product pages. Something you could film on an iPhone or latest Android and add to your site.
