Had a Store for a little over 2 weeks. Still no sales. Would appreciate some tips on making my Store look legit and trustworthy. Any help is appreciated. I've done a general Store. Thanks in advance.
Hello @LizE, I hope you are doing well! Your store isn't looking professional. You need to make your store professional, interactive & attractive. Here is the feedback:
- There is a blank space in the header.
- Change the color theme of your store from blue to white.
- The home Page should flow better. I would recommend setting it out like this.
Slideshow Image- Collection List- New arrivals, Bestsellers- Testimonials- Newsletter sign up box- Instagram Feed
- You need to engage your visitors coming to your site by giving loyalty reward points which will increase repeat purchase and customer lifetime value, chatbot, email marketing, web push notification, reviews, referral program, and many other. It will help you to run your store smoothly and decrease the bounce rate.
- Enable automatic workflow emails/push for abandoned cart, win back old customers, welcome email, purchase follow-up, or browse abandoned customers.

I would agree that the header is huge, it looks like it s being rendered over the cover image on the index page. I attached an image, so you could see what I see. Also, I noticed two chat pop-ups? I think one is Intercom, and the other is Facebook. I would consider displaying images in a different way on product pages (like this one), but I wouldn't call that a problem, it was just a thought.
I think I got at least two different popups. Make sure you're not overdoing it.
I can't comment on anything else without looking at Google Analytics.
All in all, I would look at the header and the cover image on the index page, I think something strange is going on there. Apart from that, i didn't notice a major mistake. Good luck
Am I able to make the header smaller? Not found anywhere where i can. And the 2 popups you saw, I think that was when I was actually adding the newletter popup onto my store. Was still working things out. Think it's just the one now. And what cover image? You mean the slideshow images? You screen seems really zoomed out. I don't see it like that on mine. It's much more zoomed in.
You should be able to make the header smaller (in terms of height). There's a "technical Q&A" group that could help with that, I won't pretend to be an expert.
Yeah, something weird was happening with the cover slideshow, but it looks great now.
I see there are 4 add-ons on your page: 2 messaging, and 2 by AiTrillion. If they work, great, but having too much popups can be distracting for the user, and it can reduce page load time. This is just something to have in mind.
Also, I think it would be beneficial to have the header always on the screen, at the top, so as the user scrolls through the web, they can always navigate the web through the header. As it is, when I go down on the index page, the header disappears.
Thanks for your replies. Much appreciated. I've taken one of the chat add-ons off. No idea how to take off the AiTrillion one in the bottom right corner. I don't know how to fix the header, but I will look into trying to sort it. Thanks again for the tips. My site is looking much better than when I posted my feedback request.

90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential for every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site. You can use Growave for that, it offers automated emails within the Reviews feature as well.
Imagine if you saw something that you quite like in the store, however you want to browse more, get more options, and then choose the best one. That often happens to me, because I am indecisive. That is when Wishlist comes in handy. Since you have a lot of products on your site, I recommend adding that feature to improve the user experience on your site. Besides, if the items on the wishlist have not been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.
Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer.
